Binderly ("the app", "we") is a Pokémon trading-card collection and condition-estimation app. This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
When you scan or grade a card, the photo you take is uploaded to our server to identify the card and measure its condition. For condition grading, card photos are also processed by a third-party computer-vision service acting on our behalf; that service does not retain your images for its own use. We store scan photos and grading results on our server to operate the service, debug problems, and improve grading accuracy. Photos are of trading cards, not people — please don't include faces or personal documents in your scans.
Your collection, grade history, and settings are stored locally on your device. Collection data is sent to our server only when you use a feature that needs it (for example, generating a collection export file). Export files are deleted from the server within one hour.
The app generates a random identifier on first launch. It is not tied to your name, email, or any account, and is used solely to track your monthly free-grade allowance and subscription entitlement on our server.
The app can show optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob (only when you choose to watch one). AdMob may process device information such as advertising ID for ad delivery and fraud prevention, as described in Google's Privacy Policy. Where required, the app asks for your consent before serving personalized ads.
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
Scan photos and grading results are retained to operate and improve the service. To request deletion of data associated with your device identifier, contact us with the identifier (long-press the grade counter in the app to copy it) and we will delete the associated data within 30 days.
